Thompson Pipe Group is the North American manufacturer of a product called Flowtite, a type of fiberglass pipe used to transport water. Flowtite is corrosion resistant and easier to install and maintain than the typically used steel pipe. North America has been slow to adopt fiberglass as an option for water transportation, and TPG wanted to convince engineers in the area that it was the way to go.
We took the story of a successful Flowtite project in Wyoming and created a case study that showcased the positive results and benefits. As an additional marketing piece, we designed a matching infographic that quickly summarized the case study.
Not only does Flowtite pipe save engineers money, but it is also an excellent option when dealing with tricky curves during installation. In another case study, we told the story of a successful installation in Los Angeles, California that used Flowtite in a complicated situation.

GOAL: create an infographic that explains the high cost of installing corrosive steel pipe instead of flowtite fiberglass pipe

To help convince engineers to switch from steel pipe to Flowtite pipe, we designed an infographic explaining the risks and high cost of installing steel pipe. Over time, steel pipe will corrode, which leads to leaks, which leads to high utility rates. Eventually the pipes need to be replaced, and the cycle begins again.
